Equipping the Saints to do the Work of the Ministry beyond the four walls of the Church "Impacting the Community" and the people therein!
Our Mission Statement defines us. Our philosophy is developing Relationships with those who make up the Community by helping them succeed in their personal and community livelihood. Many of those whose lives are Impacted will join us to further God’s Purpose in helping others become who God has called them to be.
Equipping
Most of us have heard great sermons on how Jesus went out into the community and did many miracles among the people.
Acts 10:38 says, How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. That’s Exciting!
We read several accounts throughout the Bible of how God used men and women to do miracles as well. That also is Exciting!
Jesus said in John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Now that really gets our attention!
However, the truth seems to be that many Christians struggle to keep themselves living a victorious life let alone be used by God to help those in need! Our Purpose here at the New Beginning Church is not to only preach the “Good News,” but to Equip you to function at work, in the market place and in your daily walk in the power of the Holy Spirit!
Eph 4:11-12 tells us, Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. {NLT}
As believers discover God has a Purpose in the Kingdom of God for them which is more than simply “Going to Church,” they become motivated to step out and walk in the giftings God has for them.
