Equipping the Saints to do the Work of the Ministry beyond the four walls of the Church "Impacting the Community" and the people therein!

We Believe…

 

  • in the Bible as the inspired Word of God

 

  • in the one, living, and true God as eternally being Father,

Son, and Holy Spirit

 

  • in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ who, as very God and very man, yet one Christ, was

    • conceived by the Holy Spirit

    • born of the Virgin Mary

    • sinless in nature and life

    • full of the Holy Spirit without measure

    • authoritative in teaching and preaching

    • mighty and miraculous in ministry

    • crucified, dead, and buried

    • resurrected in power, and who

    • ascended into heaven

    • intercedes before the Father on our behalf

 

  • in the forgiveness of sins through the shed blood of Jesus alone

 

  • in eternal life and salvation by grace through faith in Christ

 

  • in the deity of the Holy Spirit who

    • indwells/fills us with the presence of God

    • anoints us unto fruit and good works

    • joins us together with all saints as Christ's body, the church

    • equips us in power and spiritual gifts

    • leads us in our Christian walk

 

  • in the commissioning of the church to carry Christ's gospel - by Word, deed, and power - into all the world

 

·         in the resurrection of the dead and in the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ who shall come to judge the living and the dead

 

 

How can l find my fit, function, and place in Christ's Body?

 

1.   Repent, believe and be baptized into Christ Jesus (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 2:36-38| 1 Corinthians 12:12-1

 

2.   Commit yourself to a local expression of His body (church)

 

  • By embracing the vision and purpose of the church (Proverbs 29: 18; Isaiah 46:10-1 1; Ephesians 3:1 1)

 

  • By receiving the leadership of the church (1 Thessalonians 5:12-13; Hebrews 13:7, 17, 24)

 

  • By being a faithful attendee and participant (Hebrews 10:25; 1 Corinthians 14:26-33, Ephesians 4:16)

 

  • By discovering and developing your spiritual gifts (Romans 12:3-8; 1 Corinthians 12-14)

 

  • By practically serving with your gifts (Romans 12:1 1; 1 Corinthians 12:7; Galatians 5:13)

 

  • By faithfully supporting with your tithes and offerings (Deuteronomy 12:5-7, 1 1-14*, Malachi 3:6-12| Matthew 23:23| 1 Corinthians 16:1-2) 2 Corinthians 8-9)

 

  • By always speaking well of the church (Ephesians 5:28-32; James 3:2, 9-10)
